A popular recreational activity that is carried out outdoors is camping.
Those who involve in camping are called campers. They leave behind a busy and hectic life, their work and worries back in the urban cities and towns. They take off on vacation to areas where nature is in abundance which are not populated or sparsely populated. They spend a few days and nights camping. Camping generally is a cheaper, but a more exciting form of recreation. There are different types of camping that are in vogue. Car camping is when one sets up a tent near the car. There are permanent camp sites with facilities for short duration stay during vacations. There are also some who live outdoors almost permanently out of necessity. But these are not the camping for recreation. Camping is really roughing it up.
